Another in my line of creepy portraits. Vincent Price is to me the perfect icon for horror. His voice, his look, his movies all are so perfect. And it is a classic style of horror, it doesn’t need blood or gore, it is just spooky.
My first real memory would be his part in Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Which might be why I included MJ in this painting. There are quite a few references throughout. Michael Jackson for Thriller, the zombies for Last Man on Earth, the manor for House of Haunted Hill, the topiary for Edward Scissorhands, and finally, the bats because he was a villain on one episode in the original Batman series.

Michael Bielaczyc has been working professionally in the art field since 2001 when he founded Aradani Studios with his brother Paul. Together they have exhibited across America selling both their artwork and costuming. He works in many mediums from oil paint to latex prosthetics, video to graphite.
In 2012, Michael started Lone Wanderer Entertainment with his long time friend Dane Clark Collins to publish books based in their dark fantasy world – Atheles. Since then he has authored 4 books and created the SagaBorn RPG system.
